Floors are often the largest surface area in a work environment. It is therefore logical that it must be of high quality and meet the (adapted) wishes within a site.
Properties of floor coatings
Prokol’s epoxy floor coatings are strong, wear-resistant, chemical-resistant and available with a anti-slip finish. Rocapox epoxy floor coatings are perfectly suited for use in distribution centres, warehouses, workshops, hangars, (underground) car parks, industrial units, washing areas and showrooms.
Guidelines
These floor coatings can be applied with a liquid-resistant or liquid-proof finish, in compliance with AS SIKB 6700 guidelines. This Impermeable Facility Certificate (formerly CUR/PBV-44) can only be issued subject to an independent visual inspection by a specialist.
Floor coatings and the application
Our floor coatings are solvent-free, have a long processing time and are easy to apply with a squeegee, roller and brush. They can also be applied using airless equipment or a powered roller. Despite the many colour options (RAL, NCS and BS), the products can be delivered fast.
Advisory role
The structure of a floor coating system depends on the intended use, the situation, the subsurface and specific wishes. Correct pre-treatment of the subsurface is important to ensure a proper end result. As both a producer and supplier, Prokol always has an advisory role. A technical advisor will therefore be happy to assist you. Armed with proper advice, you can then ask your installation company to make a quote.
