The chemical industry is highly dynamic
New products are developed or existing products improved as part of an ongoing process. Existing (raw) materials are used by chemical and process industries to produce new raw materials for products. Examples include: coatings, cosmetics, pharmaceuticals, plastics, pigments, soaps, detergents and cleaning agents.
Protection against deterioration of subsurfaces
Chemical plants often use tank terminals (storage tanks) that require preventive and/or curative maintenance to extend their service lives. Damage to subsurfaces is usually caused by rust/corrosion, which can lead to defects and/or failure. In most cases, this can be prevented by using a specially developed Polyurea Hotspray membrane from Prokol. This tank lining coating is a balanced system based on carefully selected pure polyurea chemistry. In addition to the (storage) tanks, secondary receptacles can be lined with these seamless liners as well.
Some of the advantages:
- Chemical-resistant
- Liquid-proof and easy to maintain
- Very fast-drying and quickly loadable
- Permanently elastic
- Seamless
